El Dorado Mexican Restaurant in Auburn

Ordered take out. Server on the phone sounded a bit tired but she didn't take my name, give me a time for when the food would be ready, or give me the price of my food. I order beef enchiladas but I basically got ground beef in a tortilla. Not bad but very bland.

Had the number 18 lunch special, phenomenal taste and almost couldn't finish it. I was still full at dinner time , definitely worth going there

Best Mexican restaurant in Auburn. I've tried several different dishes and they've all been good. They also have margarita specials often and their glasses are huge. Fun place to go for a weeknight get together.

Food was great service wonderful. Owner and manager checked on us a couple of times. Good to have them open for dine in again.

Chips and cheese dip extravaganza! The food is really good and the pricing is unbelievably affordable. They have space for big parties so that’s a plus! I had my birthday dinner there so all my friends could afford it!My friend and I got a fajita for two, it made the most fiscal sense pulse we got to choices which was shrimp and beef! Came with sides of rice, beans and veggies.

The owner and bartenders and servers are amazing. The lighting in the dining room and is a bit to bright for dinner but the bar area is perfect.

The food was delicious and hot. I will return when I am back in Auburn again.

Had the chicken enchilada. It was fantastic. Chips and salsa for the table was better than most places. Great servers and service even with everything thats going on with Covid right now.

Missing food from my order, no apology. Went back to get the missing food, they just gave food without any comments.Plus, if you want taco, go to Taqueria or somewhere else.. way better choice.

Great place , best mexican food

I was happy at first but they forgot about us. At the bar more worried about the college kids than the adults that are repeat business. Waiting an hour for my to go food and we ordered drinks and still were ignored. I hope the to go food makes up for it. Especially because my husband took me there after having a great lunch.

The food - outstanding! The service - outstanding! There were four of us, each sharing with the others. We love enchiladas and had chicken and ground beef. They were some of the best we’ve ever had. My brother and his wife shared the Molcajete chicken steak shrimp dinner. It was plenty for two people and five days past it they are still raving about how good it was. We recommend this place highly.

Great little place, the quesadillas are very tasty and the cheese dip and salsa are really good. The staff was very nice and accommodating, Mateo was a great server and wanted to make sure that I had everything that I needed. They have an outdoor seating area and a nice large room in the center of the restaurant with a large screen TV. This would be a great place four groups or families. I will definitely go back here and eat again but next time probably try the tamales or fajitas.

We really enjoy this place for delicious Mexican food. I particularly like how large of a menu they have. You can find all of the typical dishes you would expect in Mexican restaurant, but they also serve lots of fancier, interesting, fresh, and even healthier options as well. All for good prices! They are very friendly and kind and we always enjoy ourselves!

I absolutely LOVE this place!!!!! Everyone is always so friendly and remembers us. The food is ALWAYS hot, fresh and absolutely delicious.

Alcapulco's is 3 times better and only a mile further down the road. The taco salad was soggy and leaking through the taco shell, and the quesadillas were dry with the cheese only near the edge. The Queso was not very flavorful either. All that said, it didn't taste bad, just nowhere near as good as Alcapulcos which is so close to this one that it is always worth the trip.

It was delicious! Big portions for pretty reasonable price! I did not give five stars, however, because their bathrooms smell AWFUL. They smell like a porta-potty! Would definitely come back, but not use their restrooms again. 😱
